AREA OF CAPABILITIES
We produce parts from block material, round bar, angle plate, flame-cut, laser-cut, or water-jet shaped stock material. Olion produce parts from stock lengths or using nesting methods and machine in quick succession from material to finished product in an efficient manner. We also work with castings and fabrications as well as assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Plastics
ABS, acrylic, nylon, polycarbonate
Aluminium
Various types of aluminium, including 6061, T6-6061, T4-6061, 60631 7075 to name a few.
Steel
Steel, hardened steel, stainless steel Type 12 and Type 14, K14 and others
Stainless-Steel
200, 300 and 400-series, inclusive of the various alloys, and the most-used Type-316 and Type-318, even up to Type 600 alloys.

Production Machining
Olion uses its substantive engineering capabilities to comprise high volume machining for production-line part machining in quick succession. The use of jigs and fixtures to assemble efficient part producing techniques is a part of the advanced process we use to maximise machine run time. In this way, large quantities of parts can be produced which can keep manufacturing costs down and take advantage of the productivity time to further pursue engineering efficiency.

TO machine parts effectively with efficient volume removal and careful planning and the right approach, Olion designs machining programs and successful machining techniques to perform CNC machining in a highly proficient and consistent manner, maintaining high speeds and feeds while pushing the boundaries of fast chip removal and using the right cutters and tools.
